Investment Philosophy
We believe that fundamental research into a company's operations and management is necessary to determine the value and consequently a recommendation on a stock.

We look at three main factors:
  • Is it a good business (i.e. strong or rapidly improving return on equity)?
  • Has it got good management?
  • Is the valuation attractive?
This requires full time coverage of stocks by experienced analysts from the "bottom up" combined with a strategic "top down" view, taking into account the entire industry sector the company operates in.

Stock Coverage

PIR provides coverage of all A-REITs included in the S&P/ ASX 300 index, providing fundamental analysis complete with Buy/Add/Neutral/Reduce/Sell recommendations.

We also from time to time provide profiles on unlisted property funds that have not been rated by PIR.
